Sun rises in the east, sets in the west. Usually this means that east coast sunsets are lame compared to west coast sunsets. Unless you’re on an incredible beach after a rainstorm and a double rainbow materializes in front of you as the sun sets behind you.

A day after Hurricane Bill grazed the East Coast, the water off Cape Cod was relatively calm. I took a few photos of my buddy Dan surfing off Coast Guard beach in Truro. I like how Photoshop’s brushstroke filter looks here.
