For the first time in years, the forecast was dead on and we got more than 20″ outside my front door. DC is down for the count and I’m enjoying a snow day today.
As I left DC this morning the temperature was climbing to 50 degrees and I couldn’t help but grab a shot of these icicles. I’ve never seen so many together. They reminded me of growing up in VT — this would have been quite a find.
Denver-bound and hoping to be knee-deep in powder ASAP.
Sometimes people tell me they think that I’m alright, but they don’t like this “phonetography” business.
They’ll say, “Hey Paul, you took nice pictures before you started using your phone.”
So today I ran into my little friend Fitz at the grocery store and we talked about the snow-polcalypse that was supposed to be hitting Washington, D.C. I told him that if we actually got a storm, I might actually use a real camera to take a picture of it.
The snow never actually came, so here’s a shot from the phone. Sorry Fitz. Maybe nature will get real sometime after midnight.
